Ely and District Training Group
The Ely and District Training Group is a not for profit body run by a committee drawn from the membership. We provide high quality relevant training using proven instructors with years of practical experience who are well versed in training their target audience. This training can be delivered on site or at a local venue. Ely & District Training Group is a Lantra registered Training Provider and a member of ART, the umbrella organisation for Training Groups in East Anglia.
The Training Group formed as an amalgamation between the Fenland Group and the Ely and District Group in 1993 and has run sucessfully since then . Figures for the 2006-2007 year showed over 800 trainees attending courses. We provide training for our membership and are also happy to provide training for non-members. Group users are primarily drawn from the agricultural community but also from many other rural businesses such as nurseries, tree surgeons, agricultural engineers, internal drainage boards and studs
