NEWSLETTERS

The Ely & District Training Group aims to keep its members up to date with developments that may affect their training requirements. To this end newsletters are produced which can be read by clicking on the appropriate title. A short summary of any newsworthy item may also feature from time to time.

For example currently the Young Entrants Scheme run by the Group has several available places. This scheme is funded by the Group and young staff who meet the criteria may benefit from training to the tune of £750. This training comprises several core courses but there is also room for each trainee to develop further areas of particular interest. Landskills East Funding will be available for any non-legislative training from September 2009 for the next three years.

Driver CPC comes into force on 10 September 2009, we can offer courses which have been registered with the body controling this scheme and will carry the necessary points.

A management training programme has been put together for winter 2009 which will give a comprehensive update on various technical areas and also carry BASIS points.
